Did you know...
- All high school students must take art electives to graduate from MHS.
- The MAA contributes approximately $50-$120 per student per year over all visual and performing arts programs grades 5-12.
- The MAA supports district-wide Music and Visual Art education both in and outside of the classroom, including such programs as: Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Drumline, Showstoppers, Voices and Visions Photography, Governor’s Art Competition, Fall Play, Spring Musical, MJHS Play, Art Club and more.
- Arts Awards and Senior Scholarships totaling more than $5,400 are funded annually by the MAA.
