Climate Council:
Climate Council is open to all seventh and eighth grade students. In this club, we work to create a positive environment in which all students and staff members feel welcomed and valued. Among other activities, students will organize positive recognition, sponsor Pennies for Patients, and send positive messages to their peers and teachers.
If you are interested in joining, please come to our first meeting during lunch this Thursday. Seventh graders should meet in Mrs. Hunt's room, and eighth graders should meet in Mrs. Eppert's room. Please bring your lunch to the meeting.
Builders Club:
Please check out your Social Studies teachers' Schoology pages to sign up for Builders Club and/or Model UN if you are interested! We would like to wrap up sign ups this week because we have events coming up soon!
Girls Golf:
Last night the Mariemont girls golf team continued their winning streak with a win over Madeira at Terrace Park Country Club. The golf team moved to 7-2 on the year! Campbell Drum was medalist with a 43. Lily Billups placed second with a 47. Way to go girls!
Today they take on Milford and Loveland at Eagles Nest in a Tri-Match starting 4pm. Go Warriors!
Boys Golf:
The boys golf team had an exciting match vs Indian Hill this past Friday! They bested the Braves 138-139. Their record is now 6-4.
Leading the Warriors to victory were Eli Ching (34), Cullen O'Brien (34) and Andy Hudson (36). This is the last week for the boys golf team and it starts with a match vs Milford tomorrow. Please wish them well as they go for a strong finish to the season. Go Warriors!
Volleyball:
Congratulations to the Blue Volleyball team for their victory against Madeira. They took them in 3 sets, 25-10, 18-25, 15-11. Great job girls!
