Any student interested in writing for our school newspaper, The Blueprint, should attend a meeting in Ms. Reilly's room (room 165) today, September 11th during lunch. If you can't make the meeting see Ms. Reilly for more information!
Attention NHS Members - We have two upcoming volunteer opportunities to fulfill your fall service requirements.
- The first is the ALS walk on Sunday September 17th. For the walk, you will be required to fundraise $10. If you’re walking for a sport, you will not have to raise additional money for your service hours to count.
- The second service opportunity is the Warrior Run on Saturday October 14th. There is a $10 registration fee for service.
If you can’t make either date, you are required to complete the hours on your own time (3 hours of service) and submit verification of those hours. All service hours are due by October 22nd. If you don’t complete your service hours by the 22nd, you will not be participating in the induction ceremony. Please see the NHS Officers - Ellie Urshel, Leah Wilson, Erin O’Donnell, Tanner Letton or Lindsey Frye - Mr. Wiseman or Mrs. Lowery with questions.
The following colleges will have representatives visiting the CCPC. All juniors and seniors are welcome to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about these institutions. Please notify your teacher if you will be missing class.
- Ohio University on Wednesday Sept 13th during 5th Bell
- Vanderbilt University on Wednesday Sept 13 during 7th Bell
- Dickinson College on Thursday Sept 14th during 6th Bell
- Indiana University on Friday Sept 15th during 7th Bell
