The faculty and staff of Mariemont High School are pleased to announce that Suzy Becksfort, Hadley Dickinson, Clara Hampton, Ellie Urshel, Gavin Van Scoy and Leah Wilson have been named National Merit Commended Students by the College Board. Each of these students scored in the top five percent of the nearly 1.6 million students who took the PSAT last fall. These students, as well as their families and teachers, are to be congratulated for this exemplary achievement. All of us in the Mariemont School Community are very proud of their outstanding accomplishment and wish them the best of luck as they complete their senior year at MHS.
It’s a Warrior Bell day, so you know what that means. It's time to put your recycling can outside your classroom so the Environmental Club can drop by to empty it.
Seniors, if any of your college application deadlines are October 15, then remember to turn in your pink transcript request forms to Mrs. Leszczuk by Monday, September 25.
Attention Freshman, class t-shirts are on sale now through Friday. The cost is $15 and they must be paid for in advance. See class officers Micah Mahadevan, Jaron Richter, Sofia Karakostas or Elliot McClish to order a shirt!
The Terrace Park Historical Society is having an event on the Village Green for Steve Early on Sunday, Sept. 24th about the book he wrote on Covalt Station. They are looking for 6 student volunteers to help with setting up a tent and picking up tables and chairs in Terrace Park. Set up would be at 11am and take down would be at 6pm. If you are interested in earning your volunteer hours, contact Suzi Ricketts at 513-260-4450.
The following colleges will have representatives visiting the CCPC. All juniors and seniors are welcome to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about these institutions. Please notify your teacher if you will be missing class.
