Volleyball: 

Congrats to the 8th grade volleyball team for their win over Taylor last night 25-18, 14-25, 25-19. The 2nd win this week as they take on Madeira and Indian Hill at home next week. Hope to see you there!!! 



Girls Soccer: 

The girls soccer team improved their record to 6-0 with their Wednesday night win over Taylor by a score of 9-1.  The following goals were scored:

 

- Saura Patel had a goal

- Jane Muller had a goal

- Lily Kaplan had two goals

- Ella Garrison had two goals, with one of those goals assisted by Jane Muller

- Jonah Rodriguez had a goal

- Bentley Osgood had two goals.

Girls Golf: 

Last night the Girls Golf Team improved their record to 5-2 on the year.  Mariemont's team score at Woodland Golf Course vs Taylor was 168. Mariemont was led by Charlotte Soller who shot 39. Followed closely behind by Miller Spreen with a score of 40.   

 

The girls travel to Armco Golf Course today to face Loveland.

Tennis: 

The girls tennis team defeated Sycamore 4-0 yesterday.  Doubles wins from teams Olivia Riportella &Riley McKinney; Lilah Zaveri & Morgan Dorsey; Mia Eberlein & Avery Minyard; and Anaya Rimrez & Gabby Scott.  Congratulations team!


Boys Soccer:

The boys soccer team brought home another victory last night remaining undefeated for the season. Behind a strong effort from the defense, and a combined shut out from goalies John Lindner and Brady Colacarro, the team beat Taylor 7 - 0. Goals were scored by the following players:  Jack Caudill, Jack Davis, Ben McClorey, Colton Beck and Will Haugh.  Their next game is this Saturday at Walnut Hills at 11:30 am.

 


Ukraine Art Show: 

Our 3rd annual International Student Art Exhibit is back on display. Artwork from Mariemont students and those from our sister city of Kharkiv, Ukraine are now on display at the Barn in Mariemont. This year's theme is the Four Seasons, and the show is open from now until September 29th.

The show is open weekdays 3-6 and weekends 1-4, and open and free to all. Head on over after school one day to see the beautiful art.



Warriors, It's back! The annual BonFire at the Terrace Park Log Cabin is tonight! Come early to get a good seat and a sweet treat from the MHS Cheerleaders bake sale starting at 7pm & stay to support the cheerleaders, marching Warriors and Varsity Football team during the bonfire at 8pm, as the football team prepares for Indian Hill on Friday! See you there!






The Warrior Run is back!  Registration is open for the 2021 1N5 Warrior Run.  The race will be held on October 2 right here in Mariemont! Come join us at the Bell Tower Park or run your race virtually.  This family-friendly event includes a 5K Run and a 1-mile walk.  After the race, you can join the party at the Bell Tower for food, kids' games, and a movie!!

Every dollar raised through the Warrior Run supports evidence-based mental health education in our schools. 1N5 supports projects right here at MJHS like Sources of Strength, the MindPeace Room, and Signs of Suicide. The goal of the Warrior Run is to raise money and awareness to expand mental health programming so that no one fights this fight alone.
