ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Friday, November 18, 2022

  1. Sophomores: Are you interested in gaining leadership skills? Represent your high school and discover your leadership talents at the Hugh O'Brien State Leadership Seminar! Spend two days this summer on a college campus in a fun, interactive leadership training program. Learn how you can be an impactful leader. There is no cost to attend. Check out the application in Schoology on the counseling page or see Mrs. Zaya. Applications are due December 5th.

  2. The Key Club is holding its annual canned food drive this week,  now through this Friday, November 18th. All items are donated to the Inter Parish Ministries in Newtown. This year they are asking for peanut butter, jelly, cereal, canned fruit, and hamburger helper. Please bring items to your first bell - the class with the most items will win a donut party.

  3. National Honor Society want you to keep bringing in that winter gear. The drive will last until next Tuesday. Help others stay warm this winter and get that lunch from Cane's!

  4. Bowling has officially started. Practice is from 4-5 pm at Madison bowl on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. We really need girls to be able to have a girls bowling team. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Barr.

  5. This is your final chance to purchase tickets for Blithe Spirit! All seats are reserved and must be purchased in advance! Don't miss out! The Mariemont High School Theater Department presents Blithe Spirit. Performance dates are Friday, November 18th through Sunday, November 20. Tickets are available through http://mariemonths.seatyourself.biz. All seats are reserved - no "night of" or "cash" sales. See you at the theater this weekend!

  6. Environmental Club will be holding an invasive species clean up from 9:00-11:00 am on Sunday at the concourse, service hours are available. It is supposed to be cold so please dress warm. If you have any questions see Mr. Vanags.

  7. Hey juniors, would you like to prepare for your future ACT score? Although there are many test-optional universities, many still require the test such as all public colleges in Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. You may want to consider taking the Torchprep course that will be taught here at MHS in January and February right before the February 28 ACT that you'll take here.  See your Friday email for more information from Mrs. Lezczuk.
