We have an update to our March Mammal Madness award winners. First of all, a calculation error was made in the teacher totals. It turns out that our winner, with a massive 98 points, was Ms. Brittney Anderson! You will join Mr. Ballard as the top scorers in the building. Congratulations! Additionally, the science department would like to acknowledge the high scorers in each grade. In 7th grade, with 100 points, our grade level winner was Sophie Moloney. And in 8th grade, with the HIGHEST score in the entire building with 103 points, congratulations to…. Lily Beck!! We will see all of our class, staff and grade level winners during lunch on Friday for a celebratory pizza party! Congratulations from your science teachers!!
The final Continental Math League contest of the year will take place on Thursday during your lunch bell. If you can, come to room 109 to take part in stimulating math competition!

Science Club
Science club is excited to announce that our NASA Rocket Engineer will be returning again this year. All seventh and eighth graders are welcome on Friday, April 19 from 3 to 4:15 PM in Mrs. Alexander‘s room. Snacks will be served, and prizes will be awarded for stellar rocket launches. Be prepared to listen, learn and get hands-on with a real NASA engineer!!
SpongeBob the Musical
Mariemont Junior High School presents The SpongeBob Musical. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! Please join us on April 12th @ 7:00pm and April 13th @ 2:00pm at the MHS Auditorium as our students put on a performance that we will never forget.
