This week, your science teachers would like to share some Daily Eclipse Facts!
Viewing an eclipse in the same location happens only once in lifetime. While a total eclipse is not rare, the opportunity to observe an eclipse from the same location is incredibly rare. A total solar eclipse takes about 375 years to happen again in the same location.
In ancient Greece, a solar eclipse was seen as a sign that the gods were angry and was thought to be an omen of bad things to come. The word eclipse comes from the Greek word ekleipsis which means “being abandoned." Have a question about next Monday’s eclipse? See your science teacher!! Stay tuned for more eclipse facts tomorrow!

SpongeBob the Musical
Mariemont Junior High School presents The SpongeBob Musical. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
