This week, your science teachers would like to share some Daily Eclipse Facts!

Wildlife will respond to the shifting light of an eclipse. As the partial eclipse progresses and the sky darkens, birds will begin their early evening routine of flocking/swarming and chirping loudly. As we plunge into the darkness of totality, birds will land and go quiet. During an eclipse, local animals and birds often prepare for sleep or behave confusedly. Local temperatures often drop 20 degrees or more near totality.

Attention Power of the Pen:  We will have a practice tomorrow after school.  Plan to write!
