Do you enjoy reading different perspectives? Do you like to hang out and
talk with your friends? 8th graders meet in room 207 during lunch on
October 10 where we will discuss and vote on our first book!!! See you

ATTENTION ASPIRING WRITERS: ALL
7TH AND 8TH graders interested in the Power of the Pen Team are invited to the
first round of try-outs taking places after school on Today, October 8th. Please meet in Mrs. Jordan’s room (207). Bring paper and a pen or pencil. If you cannot attend, talk to your language arts teacher. Hope to see you there.
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to
school with your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or
other reason. Please remind your student to bring the note to the office
upon arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to
leave class early and wait at the office until you arrive. If this
procedure is followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your
arrival. In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to
