The JH Girls
tennis team started tournament yesterday. Lucy Glassmeyer, Reece Benner, and Cece Kuwatch have all made the semi-finals of the singles flights. Doubles teams Brynna O’Brien and Lindsey Frye, Also, Grace Sabbath and Erin O’Donnell made the semi-finals of the doubles flights all to be played on Wednesday. Good luck Ladies!
The Lady
Warriors Soccer Team did it again by defeating Princeton 6-1 in their first
game of the
tournament. Goals were scored by Peyton Steele, Izzy Drake, Abby Robinson and 3
by Erin Wilder. The girls next game in the tournament is Wednesday at 5 pm at
Mariemont High School. Come on out to cheer them on to victory!
Science club is starting at MJHS. Interested students should come during their lunch this Wednesday to Mrs. Alexander's room to hear all about it and see if they are interested in signing up.
Art Club will have its first meeting this Wednesday, October 16 after school in room #115 with Mrs. Komrska. We will tie dye tee shirts and banners, and discuss upcoming projects. No need to sign up, just show up. We'll wrap up by 4:15.
Picture retake day is Thursday, October 17 for
students who were absent on picture day or wish to have a new picture
taken. Students getting a retake should bring original picture package to

Attention
8th grade parents: On November 13,
2019, all 8th graders will take a field trip to Union Terminal from
8:30am-12:30pm. Please see the attached flyer for information.
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with your student if they
need to leave early for an appointment or other reason. Please remind
your student to bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell
class) where they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the
office until you arrive. If this procedure is followed, your student will
be sent outside to meet you upon your arrival. In place of a note to
school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30 [email protected].
