Volleyball:
Congratulations to the 7th grade volleyball team on their win against Deer Park. They won in two sets, 25-19 and 25-13!
The 8th grade volleyball team also had a win over Deer Park, 25-12 and 25-8. They will travel to Reading on Wednesday and back home on Thursday. Good luck ladies!
Soccer:
The boys soccer team won against Taylor last night, 4-0. Goals were scored by Kier Andrus (2), Landon Schmidt (1) and Cam Spreen (1). Congratulations!
The girls soccer team had a win against Taylor last night with a score of 2-1. Goals were scored by Demaree Vianello and Cecily Kessler. Great job!
Model UN:

eSports
eSports begin this week. Students planning to play Rocket League, will meet at the high school today (Tuesday) after school. Students playing Smash, will meet at the high school on Wednesday. The activity bus is available to bring students to the high school - students are responsible for their own ride home at 4:45. Remember to bring your signed permission slip to the office. Extra permission slips are available in the office.
MJHS Night at the MHS Football Game & Tailgate is this Friday! This PTO sponsored event will be held on Friday, September 15th prior to the high school football game. Please consider supporting our MJHS PTO's sponsorship of the tailgate. MJHS PTO is looking for a few volunteers and supplies for the tailgate. The annual Warrior Run will take place on October 14 at 5:15 p.m. (1 Mile) and 5:30 p.m. (5K) at Dogwood Park in Mariemont (both courses start and finish here.) Please consider joining our team and/or volunteering (even if you don't participate in the run, just registering helps raise money for our district).
The run includes a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Walk, Kids’ Fun Run, great food, music, and carnival-style kids’ games. You can even participate virtually if you prefer.
Please consider joining our team, making a donation, or both! The money raised goes directly to supporting our mental health programs in the Mariemont City School District. Sources of Strength, Signs of Suicide, MindPeace Rooms have all been supported through our Warrior run funds.
