Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior

One of the things I love most about our community is how many people choose to either stay in our district or return back to our district once they build families of their own. There are families in our district with multiple generations of Mariemont High School graduates, and it speaks to the excellence of our schools and community that they choose to continue this legacy.

I also admire the amount of community members who choose to remain engaged and involved with our school district, even after their own children have grown older and moved on to the next stages of their lives. So many continue to volunteer at school functions, attend athletic events and school plays and often donate their time and expertise to helping our students learn in the classroom.

Back in 2014 we launched the Warrior Club, specifically to say thank you to these people who remain committed to Mariemont City Schools. The Warrior Club is open to residents of our school district that no longer have children attending school in the district and are age 55 years or older.

Each of the members have spent a lot of time supporting our schools throughout their children’s schooling years (and sometimes through their own schooling years as well.) Simply by being members of our school district community, they help our students of yesterday, today and tomorrow grow and thrive by providing the support and community that our children need.

The Warrior Club is one way that we can give back to our community. By joining the group, members obtain free admission to all Mariemont City Schools regular season home sporting events and arts performances, receive invitations to special events and are automatically subscribed to the Warrior Club newsletter which includes updates, stories and insider information about the school district. We love our working partnership with the Warrior Club and are happy that we are able to say thank you to them in this way.

If you would like to become a member of the Warrior Club, or know of someone who may be interested, please visit our district website here to fill out a membership form.

To all of our former Mariemont City Schools parents, volunteers and supporters, thank you for continuing to champion our students and our schools. We could not provide our excellent academic and extracurricular programming without you!
