November 23 Update

Mariemont City Schools will offer the Online Warriors program again for the second semester of this school year. In order to adjust our staffing model accordingly, students need to register for the second semester of Online Warriors by Monday, December 7, to guarantee a spot. Please note that this registration is a commitment for the entire semester.

Online Warriors will participate in school virtually through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Grades K-8 Online Warriors will have designated online teachers. Grades 9-12 Online Warriors will zoom into core classes daily. Grades 7-12 Online Warriors will also have the option to participate in Fuel Ed electives, if desired or needed. Students in high school credit courses will be required to report to the school building for assessments. This will occur after school hours where social distancing can be maintained.

All students who want to participate in the Online Warriors program for second semester must register even if currently in the program for first semester.

Should you have any questions regarding the Online Warriors program, please contact Shannon Kromer, Director of Teaching and Learning, at [email protected].

The Mariemont City School District plans to remain in Tier 1 beginning Monday, Nov. 30, and until further notice.

Beginning after the Thanksgiving break, the district will shift to a "communicate as needed" model. You will still receive the latest information as it relates to Mariemont City Schools, but the district will no longer be making regular, planned tiered announcements unless the need arises to make a switch.

We have shared previously that guidance from local health officials has shifted its focus to what is happening in each particular district and school. Therefore, we will remain in Tier 1 until the data within our schools and district necessitates a change.

As always, you can check out the latest information on the district's RESTART Update webpage.
