Andrew Glassmeyer of Marimenont was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 1, tallying 5,728 votes (26.8 percent).

 

Glassmeyer had a career high 304 yards passing with three touchdowns in the Warriors’ 30-19 victory over Taylor.

 

He edged out Carter Frank of Clinton-Massie and La Salle’s Zach Branam in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 15 players were nominated with a total of 21,343 votes registered.
