ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Tuesday, September 3, 2019
1. Attention Juniors and Seniors – please check your Naviance account to see 80 college visits. Yes, that’s right, 80 colleges will be visiting us in the next few weeks starting on Thursday, Sept. 5. Go to the college tab and scroll to the bottom to see when each of these schools will be here. You need to get permission from your teacher to attend. All visits will take place in the main office conference room. This is a great way to demonstrate your interest in the college. Contact Mrs. Leszczuk if you have questions. Also see the first biweekly email sent to all juniors and seniors today regarding college information.
2. The following colleges will be visiting the CCPC located in the main office area. Students interested in learning more about these colleges/universities are encouraged to attend.
Thursday, September 5
1st bell – Wright State University,
3rd bell – Lynn University and
4th bell – Mount Saint Joseph University
3. The first Key Club meeting will be held after school this afternoon at 3:00 in the Auditorium. All current and future members should attend.
4. Leadership Council will meet today during lunch in Mr. Vanags room.
5. Do you need to earn your PE credit? If you are planning to earn your credit through PE flex credit, please come to the auditorium at 12:15 today, at the end of lunch. This is for all students who are earning PE credit through some kind of exercise outside of a Mariemont High School sport. Bring your device with you.
6. There will be an NHS meeting for all current members right after school on Thursday, Sept. 5 in the auditorium.
7. Congratulations to Varsity Golf Team on winning the Bexley Invitational Saturday with a very impressive team score of 293. The home team finished second,10 strokes behind. There were 16 teams in the tournament. Jack was co-medalist, shooting 68, Max 74, Tom 75, Andrew 76, Will 85 and Thomas 99.
8. Today is a Twofer Tuesday in Warrior Country with two events here on campus. The Volleyball teams battle Indian Hill at 5:30 and 6:30 in the team’s first WHITEOUT of the season. Wear white and support your Lady Warriors! The Boys Soccer Warriors host Wyoming at 5 and 7pm. The Warriors and the Cowboys are both ranked in the TOP 10 OF THE STATE COACHES POLL. Your ticket to the game gets you in to both events, so stretch that weekend a little longer and come out and cheer all four teams on at home tonight!

10. Seniors who have turned in permission forms may begin senior lunch privileges today and may begin modified schedules for late arrival/early dismissal tomorrow.
