Taylor Advances to OHSAA Tennis District Tournament

Mariemont High School sophomore Kate Taylor continued a successful fall season, earning a spot in the OHSAA DII Girls Tennis District Championship with a semifinal appearance in the sectional competition on October 5.

Taylor will advance to the district tournament as the No. 4 seed from the Mason Sectional. The top four finishers from the district level will qualify for the state competition.

She did not drop a single game through her first three matches, picking up 6-0, 6-0 sweeps over opponents from Clermont Northeastern, Wayne and Bethel-Tate.

The district tournament will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio.
