ME RAINBOW
Our school theme for the 2021-2022 school year- ME RAINBOW. After rain there is a Rainbow. After a storm there’s calm. After the night there’s a morning and after an ending there’s a new beginning! 7 colors make a Rainbow, 7 beautiful letters make the word 'Friends', 7 days make a Week, 7 continents make a World & 7 grade levels make up our ME Rainbow!

Empathy: Be aware of the feelings and emotions of others.

Wednesday, 12/8: Go out of your way to help someone.
Thursday, 12/9: Listen to someone else’s opinion or idea without judging.
Friday, 12/10: CELEBRATE DIFFERENCES DAY!
Second Quarter School-Wide Book: Same, Same but Different by Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw
Elliot lives in America, and Kailash lives in India. They are pen pals. By exchanging letters and pictures, they learn that they both love to climb trees, have pets, and go to school. Their worlds might look different, but they are actually similar. Same, same. But different!
Through an inviting point-of-view and colorful, vivid illustrations, this story shows how two boys living oceans apart can be the best of friends.

Water Bottles
Please remember to send a water bottle with your child daily. The building is equipped with a number of touchless water bottle filling stations on every floor, as well as in the gym if students need to refill their water throughout the day.
