Help TPE 6th Grade Class Raise Money for Ugandan Water Well
Water Bottle
Sixth grade students at Terrace Park Elementary Schools are selling water bottles to benefit the non-profit organization We Are The Ripple and help provide clean drinking water to people in Uganda.

After reading the book A Long Walk to Water, the class spent the week discussing cultures where drinking water may be dirty and scarce. Teacher Ann Williams connected the class with the founders of We Are The Ripple who came to speak to the sixth students about their experiences building the wells.

The organization surprised the class with a challenge that if it sold 100 water bottles, Terrace Park Elementary School would be engraved on the next Ugandan well in its honor. The well will be in the town of Gobero.

If you are interested in purchasing a water bottle to help the TPE cause, visit https://www.wearetheripple.com/ and enter “TP” as the checkout code. For every water bottle sold, $8 goes towards the next water well.
