For the Love of the Schools

The tremendous community support we have in Mariemont City Schools truly sets us apart. It’s what allows us to provide an excellent education and wonderful experiences for our students. And this support will be on full display again this year at the annual FAB Affair!

We are a little over two weeks away from this special event that is co-hosted by our three biggest support organizations, the Mariemont School Foundation, Mariemont Arts Association and the Mariemont Athletic Boosters. Each year, these three organizations put on an awesome party that is both a really great time and a fantastic way to raise money for our schools and our students.

The money raised from this event is split between these three organizations and effectively impacts every single student in our district. Over the years, dollars raised at the FAB have contributed to updated equipment and apparel for student athletes, pottery kilns, microphones and sound systems, funding for experiential learning partners, mental health programming services and much more. These dollars play a crucial role in allowing us to work smart, create experience and embrace growth as a school district.

This year’s FAB Affair will take place on Saturday, February 12, at the historic Monastery in Mt. Adams. The event will feature both a live and silent auction, raffle baskets, amazing food and an open bar. Tickets are still on sale on the FAB Affair website at fabtix.org. Those who are unable to attend the event are still able to participate and support our schools with the purchase of raffle tickets.

This event truly does lay the groundwork for the many great programs and practices we are able to offer our students each year. I am so thankful for our partnerships with the Foundation, Arts Association and Boosters, and I cannot wait to see what opportunities arise with their help in the future.

I hope to see you all at the FAB Affair on February 12 as we celebrate “For the Love of the Schools”!
