Weekly News March 4th - March 8th, 2024

This month we are focusing on Fairness: Choose to be open-minded and act in a just way.

Monday, March 4th:  Today’s challenge is “Show good sportsmanship”.

  • Grade 1 SAT Assessment
  • 6th Grade Musical Rehearsal  –  Cafeteria   3:30-5pm
  • Songwriting and Recording G3-G6  -  3:30-4:30pm   Room 115

 

Tuesday, March 5th:  Today’s challenge is “Help someone today”.

  • Grade 1 SAT Assessment
  • Art Enrichment  KDG-1  -   3:30-4:15  (Remember to bring your snack)
  • Art Enrichment  Grades 2 & 3  -   4:15-5pm
  • Band Bash (Grades 5-12) – 7pm MHS 

 

Wednesday, March 6th:   Today’s challenge is “Accept feedback and consequences”.

  • Grade 1 SAT Assessment
  • CAPA – Creating Character  -   Music Room 3:30-4:30pm (Remember to bring your snack)
  • Pottery Class   -  Art Room  3:30-4:30pm (Remember to bring your snack)
  • Strings Extravaganza (Grades 5-12)  -  7pm MHS 

 

Thursday, March 7th:  Today’s challenge is “CELEBRATE DIFFERENCES DAY

  • Grade 1 SAT Assessment
  • Flying Pig Training – TPE Flagpole 7:50-8:20am
  • Time to order your 2023-24 Yearbook 
  • Grade 4 students are collecting “pop/water tabs” for the Ronald McDonald House.   Keep collecting and bring the tabs to Mrs. Mathis in 4th grade.

 

Friday, March 8th:  Today’s challenge is “Be positive”.

  • Grade 1 SAT Assessment
  • 6th Grade Musical Rehearsal  –  Cafeteria   3:30-5pm
  • Remember to take your bike/scooter home with you at the end of the day.  Do not leave at school over the weekend.
