Tier 2 Instruction Begins Aug. 31
Thank you for a successful start to the 2020-2021 school year with the completion of our three phase-in days. We were excited to see all of our students after such a long time away.

As a reminder, full instruction begins for all Mariemont City Schools learners on Monday, August 31. All buildings will be in the Tier 2 hybrid model. You can find helpful information about what to expect in Tier 2 and Tier 2 student schedules on the district's RESTART webpage.

All Online Warriors instruction also will begin on Monday, August 31. If you have not received your device or course schedule, please reach out to your building principal.

Accessing Remote Learning Lunch

Mariemont City Schools is working hard to ensure that all students in the district 18 years of age and under, regardless of their situation, have food to eat while learning remotely. If you would like to arrange for delivery lunches for your child(ren), please complete this form and someone from the district will be in contact with you.

RESTART "What If?" FAQ

As we begin full instruction on Monday, the district has compiled a list of frequently asked questions regarding student attendance, illness and quarantine procedures. Please read through the RESTART "What If?" document and contact your building principal with any additional questions.

What do I do if my student is ill and unable to participate?
  • In Person Day: Contact the school office of the building your student attends. Please be sure to include any symptoms your student has/reason for absence. Your student will be marked absent.
  • 3-12 Tier 2 Remote Day: Contact the school office of the building your student attends. Please be sure to include any symptoms your student has/reason for absence. Your student will be marked absent.
  • Online Warrior: Contact the school office of the building your student would attend in-person. Please be sure to include any symptoms your student has/reason for absence. Your student will be marked absent.

What do I do if my student is ill and able to participate?
  • In Person Day: Contact the school office of the building your student attends. Please be sure to include any symptoms your student has/reason for absence. Let the office know that your student will be live streaming class that day. Be sure your student is logged into Zoom at the appropriate times throughout the day. Your student will not be marked absent.
  • 3-12 Tier 2 Remote Day: Participate in learning as usual.
  • Online Warrior: Participate in learning as usual.

What do I do if my student has a doctor appointment or needs to leave early or come late?
  • In Person Day: Contact the school office of the building your student attends. Please submit documentation for the late arrival or early dismissal.
  • 3-12 Tier 2 Remote Day: If the leave time does not interfere with your student’s live streaming times, participate in learning as usual. If the leave time does interfere with your student’s live-streaming times, contact the school office of the building your student attends. Please submit documentation for the late arrival or early dismissal.

What do I do if my student is quarantined? Quarantined means your student either came in contact with a positive COVID-19 case or is waiting on COVID-19 test results. *IF A STUDENT IS TESTED, HE/SHE MUST QUARANTINE UNTIL THE TEST RESULT IS CONFIRMED. THIS IS TRUE EVEN IF THE STUDENT HAS NO SYMPTOMS.
  • In Person: Contact Brent Wise, the district COVID-19 Incident Commander at [email protected] or 513.272.7500. Mr. Wise will contact the student’s school nurse and the Hamilton County Department of Health. The school administrator will let you know how long your student will need to remain in quarantine. Your student can participate in learning remotely until the quarantine ends. Your K-2 student can complete asynchronous activities provided by teachers if it is a special day and can participate remotely on a homeroom day.
  • Tier 2 Remote Day: Contact Brent Wise, the district COVID-19 Incident Commander at [email protected] or 513.272.7500. Mr. Wise will contact the student’s school nurse and the Hamilton County Department of Health. The school administrator and let you know how long your student will need to remain in quarantine. Your 3-12 student can participate in learning remotely until the quarantine ends.

Mr. Wise will contact the student’s school nurse and the Hamilton County Department of Health. The school administrator will let you know how long your student will need to remain in quarantine. Your student can participate in learning remotely until the quarantine ends.

What do I do if my student has tested positive for COVID-19 and is isolated but not feeling ill?

Mr. Wise will contact the student’s school nurse and the Hamilton County Department of Health. The school administrator will let you know how long your student will need to remain isolated. Your student can participate in learning remotely until done with isolation. Your K-2 student can complete asynchronous activities provided by teachers if it is a special day and can participate remotely on a homeroom day.
