ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Monday, February 3, 2020
1. Tuesday, February 11, 4th period, Florida Institute of Technology will be visiting. Students should report to the front office.

2. Anyone interested in being part of the Backstage or Light crew for the spring musical should sign-up on the list outside Mrs. Lowery's door - Room 102 in Blue Block.

3. Did you know Mariemont will have eSports teams competing this March in Rocket League, Overwatch and Smash Bros.? If you are interested in playing any of these games competitively against other schools across Ohio, there’s still time. Stop by the eSports room 38 today after school and see Mr. Eten. This is the last call before the season starts. Current players, there will be mandatory team meetings on Tuesday for Overwatch and Wednesday for Rocket League and Smash Bros. Please meet right after school in the eSports room. Try-out week is set for the week of February 10th. All interested players must have signed their agreement form and participate in the try-out to be put on the team roster for the 2020 season. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Eten.

4. Congratulations to the Boys and Girls bowling teams for competing in this past weekend’s CHL Challenge. The boys team finished 2nd while the girls team finished 3rd. Finishing in the top 5 for the girls were Michele Tetrault – 3rd and Julie Meece – 4th. As for the boys Stephen Banks finished 3rd and Sammy Henkel was the boy’s individual Champion. Congratulations to all that bowled on Saturday.

5. Congratulations to Jaquelyn Young, CGL Girls Swimmer of the year in Saturday’s CHL Championship which saw the girls win their 7th straight title and their 11th overall. Coach Henry Thoman was CHL Girls Coach of the Year, and the boys team finished 3rd.

6. Senior cheerleaders and senior boy’s basketball players are reminded to return senior night forms to Mr. Nerl this week.

7. There will be a brief meeting for anyone interested in running track this spring on Thursday at 3:15. Weather permitting, the meeting will be on the track.
