The ME PTO
Carnival is this Saturday, March 7th from 4pm-7pm. We are in need of
more volunteers and invite any students that might be interested in helping out
(and receiving service hours) to sign up. Students can do anything from

Anyone interested in joining stage crew for the Spring Play, should plan to meet in
Mrs. Barzi's Room, 212, for a 15 minute meeting after school on Wednesday,
March 4th. Please note the shorter meeting time than previously
scheduled. If you cannot attend, but are interested, please let Mrs.
Barzi know by Wednesday.
Wednesday- Environmental Club will meet today at lunch.
A single
person in the United States produces 4.5 pounds of garbage every day! Think
about using those recycling bins & waste bins in classrooms properly. That
is part of our challenge the Environmental Club will be rolling out!
Thursday-
Environmental Club will meet today at lunch. Recycling
one ton of plastic bottles saves the equivalent energy usage of a two-person
household for one year. Students & staff... be looking for our
recycling kickoff soon! We are excited.
Attention Power of the Pen: Regional qualifiers will meet on Thursday after school in Mrs. Jordan’s room. If you ordered pizza for regionals, then please bring cash to Mrs. Jordan! If you can’t be there, then make sure to talk to one of the coaches!
Attention Project LIT: see you Friday in Mrs. Jordan’s room to finalize our discussion on Ghost. If you would like to join Project LIT, please join us Friday at lunch in Mrs. Jordan’s room! Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson is our next book!

Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure:
Parents please send a note to school with your student if they need to leave
early for an appointment or other reason. Please remind your student to
bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell class) where
they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the office until you
arrive. If this procedure is followed, your student will be sent outside
to meet you upon your arrival. In place of a note to school you may email
Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30 [email protected].
