Laura Organisciak Appointed to Mariemont City Schools Board of Education
Organisciak swearing inThe Mariemont City School District Board of Education has announced the appointment of community member Laura Organisciak to the Board of Education. She was sworn in at the monthly meeting on June 22, 2020.

Laura joins the Board to replace Bill Flynn, who resigned from his position effective May 31, and will complete Flynn’s term which runs through December 31, 2021. She earned the appointment after the school board accepted inquiries into the open seat following Flynn’s resignation announcement.

Organisciak brings a wealth of business and leadership experience to the Board. She currently serves as the East Region Finance Director for PricewaterHouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and is responsible for the financial management and results of the firm’s largest region.

In addition to her professional expertise, she has spent many years serving the school district in various capacities, including as the 2018 Residents for Continued Excellence levy chair, the 2013 levy Co-Chair and the levy treasurer from 2014-2017. She also served as the Mariemont Elementary president, vice president and treasurer and is a member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee.

Laura and her husband, Greg, live in Williams Meadow with their three children who will attend Mariemont High School, Mariemont Junior High School and Mariemont Elementary School during the 2020-21 school year.
