ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Tuesday, September 27, 2022

  1. Homecoming week is underway, don’t forget to dress up as your favorite celebrity or character tomorrow. Here are the themes for the rest of the week. Thursday - Blue and Gold and Friday - Class T-shirt Day.

  2. Homecoming court voting is underway. Today the voting will be done through the Google Form on your classes Schoology group. This will only be for freshman through juniors. Voting ends at 8PM. The third and final round for voting will be tomorrow. All grades will vote for the senior King and Queen. The same voting procedure will be used, go to your classes Schoology group for the link to the Google Form, voting for senior King and Queen will end at 3PM.

  3. Join us for the Homecoming parade on Friday before the big game!  The parade begins at 5:30 pm. Stay after for the game to watch the Warriors take on Deer Park at 7:00 pm!  The winners of Homecoming Court and class floats will be announced at halftime.  

  4. Tickets for Homecoming are on sale now.  You can buy your ticket online by following the link on the Schoology Class page.  You will receive a paper ticket on Friday which you will need to bring with you to the dance.  The last day to buy your ticket is Thursday at 3:30 pm.  Tickets are $20.  Don't forget to turn your guest form in to Mr. Block if you are bringing a guest from another school.  The dance will begin at 9:00 pm on Saturday and ends at 11 pm.  You must arrive by 9:30 pm or a parent/guardian will be called.  Have fun and show off your dance moves! 

  5. SOPHOMORES! See you at the float building today! Please refer to your email from Mrs. Ammerman or see any of your Class Officers for more information!! 

  6. Sources of Strength leaders have a meeting at lunch on Wednesday September 28th.

  7. Just a reminder, anyone interested in joining the International Thespian Society should come to an informational meeting going on now during Advisory in the Auditorium.  Can't make it, Please see Tierney Rasmussen, Ellie Haynes or Mrs. Lowery.

  8. This month we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which is a time to honor and celebrate the contribution that Hispanics have made in our community.  Keep your eye out on the hub board in the coming weeks for fun facts and information about local events happening around the city to honor and celebrate hispanic culture.

  9. Showstoppers will be holding online auditions for singers AND beatboxers October 3rd through the 12th. There will be a QR code on the hub screen to a google form to fill out! You will also have to send a 30-40 second clip of yourself singing a song of your choice OR beatboxing. Anyone can audition even if you are not in choir! Email Mrs. McGahey if you have any questions!

  10. Come up to the CCPC during 6th bell today to meet with reps from Vanderbilt University. Tomorrow we will be hosting Case Western Reserve 1st bell, Thomas More University 5th bell and University of Cincinnati 7th bell.

  11. Want to represent your grade in dodgeball on Friday at the Pep Rally? Sign up today using the QR Code or on the Spirit Club Instagram Page. Sign Ups Close on Thursday at 3pm! 

  12. The bowling team will be starting open bowling on Thursday, September 29th from 4 to 5 pm at Madison Bowl. Everyone is welcome and experience is not necessary. We will teach you how to bowl. If you have any questions please let Mr. Barr know.
