- Congratulations to your Warriors for a Cure who were the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Students of the Year Runner Up 2022! Warriors for a Cure raised over $100,000 for the LLS--only 2 of the 15 teams were able to reach this milestone. Warriors for a Cure achieved Candidate Hall of Fame status and won the Top Campaign Fundraiser Impact Award. In a record-breaking year for the competition, the combined total raised by all teams was $743,000, one hundred thousand more than the previous record. Team leaders Graham Kempiners, Sadie Kohlman, Ryder Osgood and Patrick Crowley would like to thank their team members and the Mariemont High School community for your support. Go warriors!
- The Mariemont girl’s varsity lacrosse team travelled to Columbus over the weekend and swept Worthington Kilbourne and St. Francis DeSales to bring their record to 7-0. Warriors scoring was led by Piper George with 10 goals in the 2 games. Caroline Soller added, 7, Delaine Oliveira 6, Sarah Comer 3, and Jessica Beeler had 1. The Warriors defense and goalkeeper Brynna O’Brien did a remarkable job holding the powerful DeSales offense to just 3 goals in a 13-3 victory. Mariemont hosts the Springboro Panthers on Thursday at Kusel Field.
- Anyone interested in cheering on the cheer squads for the Warriors for football or basketball next year should sign up outside of Ms. McRae’s room.
- Spanish Club will meet TOMORROW during lunch in room 12 ¡Hasta mañana!
- Sources of Strength has a meeting at lunch this Wednesday April 13th in the upper gym.
