6. The Mariemont Swim and Dive team had a successful meet over the weekend against Roger Bacon and Purcell Marian. Both the girl’s and boy’s teams came out on top and extended their winning streak and remain undefeated. The Water Warriors are slated to take on Indian Hill next this week at home. We hope to see you there!
7. MHS Students & Staff: Need a holiday gift for your family member or friend? Come shop in the new Mariemont Spirit Shop in the activity forum during lunch! The shop will be open this Thursday, December 9th. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks made out to MHS PTO.
8. Do you want a career where you can make a difference? If you are patient, optimistic, and reflective, then you may want to consider a career in education. Think about one of your favorite teachers - most likely they are passionate about their content area and enjoy being around people. Our next Career Chat scheduled for Thursday, December 9, will feature two of our very own teachers, Mrs. Long and Mr. Wiseman. They will share their career journey and how you can prepare for a career in teaching. Feel free to attend if you are interested in any careers in the field of education including school counseling, school psychology, being a principal, or working at a boarding school or private school.
