ANNOUNCEMENTS -- October 12, 2021

1. Attention freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. You will all be taking the PSAT tomorrow. Please be sure to arrive on time. You will report directly to your testing room. Testing rooms are posted near the main office and on Schoology. If you are unsure where your testing room is located, let the office or your counselor know. Students should be prepared with a #2 pencil and calculator for the test. After the test and lunch, all students will report to their regular 5th, 6th and 7th bell classes. Seniors, you should report to school in time for 5th bell at 12:48.

 

2. Representatives from the following colleges will be visiting in the CCPC:

Today, Transylvania University will visit during 6th bell.  
 

Northern Kentucky will be hosting their Regional College Fair in the Northern Kentucky University Student Union Ballroom on Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm.   Over 75 colleges or universities will be participating.

 

3. Another medical Career Chat is coming today!

Are you interested in working to prevent and mitigate health risks in the general public? Public health combines many different disciplines and supports occupations in diverse scientific, medical, research, and government settings. We are having a Career Chat to discuss public health careers today during Warrior bell in room 26 downstairs. Please plan to attend to learn more!
 

Also, remember that on October 21, our Career Chat will feature MHS graduate Kieran Phelan, who will share his journey regarding How to Become a Doctor.

4. If you are interested in cheering for basketball this winter, come to the clinic today from 4:00 to 5:30 in the Mariemont Elementary gym. Tryouts are at 4:00 tomorrow at Mariemont Elementary. No experience is necessary; we will teach you a cheer and dance for the tryouts. Sign up on Final Forms. If you cannot attend or have questions, please contact Erika Hinebaugh at (513) 207-4368.

 

5. The Mandarin Club has a meeting during lunch tomorrow in room 156. Don't forget to bring your $5 club dues. See you there!

 

6. There will be a short girls’ basketball meeting after school tomorrow at the top of the hub.
