ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Wednesday, September 9, 2020

1. The faculty and staff of Mariemont High School are pleased to announce that Grace Bohl, Jonathan Cooper, and Jackson Hacias have been named National Merit Semifinalists by the College Board. Grace, Jonathan, and Jackson all scored in the top one-half of one percent of the nearly 1.6 million students who took the PSAT last fall. These students, as well as their families and teachers, are to be congratulated for this exemplary achievement. All of us in the Mariemont School Community are very proud of their outstanding accomplishment and wish them the best of luck as they complete their senior year at MHS.

2. Many college representatives have contacted us to set up visits specifically for MHS students via zoom. Students can check a list of these visits in Scoir - they are listed on the right side when you log in. You will also see the zoom link in Scoir - click on register, and then click on the movie camera icon for the zoom link. The zoom password for all college visits is CCPC. Students (both juniors and seniors) are encouraged to attend these visits if you are interested in the particular college, but you do need to get your teacher's permission since you have to miss some class time. All college visits will be held in room 128 - the large Conference Room across from the CCPC via zoom with Mrs. Leszczuk. Students can also zoom in from home if you aren't here that day. Remember this is a great way to demonstrate interest.
