Please encourage your students to bring a water bottle. The water filling stations are available. However, the drinking fountains are not.
"The language clubs will be participating in the Pulsera Project again this year, but things will look a little different. We will be selling these brightly colored bracelets until exams. All of the proceeds go to funding schools and empowering artisans in Nicaragua.
This year we have cashless payments available. If you are interested in purchasing a pulsera, please either bring exactly $5 or a screenshot of a venmo payment to @pulseraproject . You may see a language club member or Sra. Elzey if you are interested in purchasing a bracelet. You can also look for our signs and display in the hallway for more information".
The next Continental Math League test will take place this week. Students will take this on their own. Students are on their honor to complete it without a calculator, only spent 30 minutes, and receive no assistance. After a parent signs that you followed the three guidelines, return it to Mr. Willis by Friday of exam week. Anyone who is interested in taking part can stop by Mr. Willis’ room and grab a copy.
Also, there will be a Math Club meeting at 3:30 on Monday. That should give you enough time to get home and settled in for some math. We will be making a decoration that is a wreath and a star at the same time! This will be a remote meeting that will take place on Zoom. Please find the meeting link below.
