1. Come to the MHS Library this Friday 1/22 from 3:30-4:30 for Makers Workshop. This week we'll be teaching how to use the Glowforge laser cutter to create items from wood and acrylic and working on designs for engraving and cutting. No experience necessary--all are welcome.
2. Fall senior banners for the sports of girls soccer, football, and cheer can be picked up on the table by the trophy case by the main entrance today.
3. A reminder to all students about our new COVID-19 protocols.
Students will not be able to zoom in to class from home unless:
-The student is an online warrior.
-The student has tested positive for COVID-19 and is recuperating from home.
-The student is in quarantine due to exposure to a person infected with the virus.
-The student has been tested for COVID-19 and is awaiting results.
-If a student is suffering from a chronic illness and is working remotely with permission of the principal.
Also, in order for students to stay out of quarantine during lunch, students must be 6 feet from a potentially infected person while eating and unmasked. Sitting across from a student with the plastic shields does not count as 6 feet. Students who are on the swim team who eat lunch at school should plan to meet with Dr. Renner at the beginning of lunch in room 152.
4. Any sophomore interested in applying to the Oaks needs to do so by February 9th. Go to Greatoaks.com. And see Mrs. Tackett for information or help.
