Eight Mariemont Junior High School students have been selected to the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Junior High Honors Orchestra. Sam Alter, Betty Good, Julianne Haskamp, Olivia Hoel, Sophia Long, Gwyneth Page, Laura Queen and Selena Rusk were selected to represent Mariemont City Schools.

 

The students worked hard to prepare for the audition, learning five challenging string orchestra pieces to play alongside other top orchestra students in the area. They culminated their selection to the honors orchestra with a performance at Princeton High School.
