Announcements -- Friday, February 10, 2023

1. Any junior male who is interested in applying for Ohio Buckeye Boys State should contact Mrs. Tackett.
   
   

2. Reminder: There will be a mandatory baseball meeting regarding tryouts this coming Monday, Feb 13th in Mr. Hanley's room after school. Winter athletes are expected to attend. 
   
   

3. Last year, the Senior Class Blood drive collected a record breaking 37 blood donations with the capacity to save over 100 lives. This year, the blood drive will take place Wednesday March 1st.  Any student, faculty member, or community member 17 years of age or older (age 16 with parental consent) weighing at least 110 lbs is eligible to give a life saving donation. Every donor will receive free snacks and a $5 egift card!  See Mrs. Bell for a permission form if you are 16 or to sign up. To donate you can simply scan the QR code or go to the website you can find on posters around the building.  
   
   

4. Sophomores- are you interested in being a part of a leadership program? Apply to the Regional Youth Leadership Program.  You will meet students from around the city and collaborate with local business and civic leaders. Each session will focus on a specific topic hosted by businesses and organizations in the region and managed by community leaders. RYL will take place once a month throughout next school year. The deadline has been extended until next Friday, February 17th. The link to the application is on the counseling page in schoology.
