ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Wednesday, September 18, 2019

1. The following colleges will be visiting the CCPC located in the main office area. Students interested in learning more about these colleges/universities are encouraged to attend.

Christ College of Nursing – 4th bell

Tuesday:

Princeton – 7th bell

2. Sources of Strength leaders: we have a meeting today at lunch in the auditorium. Bring your lunch. Dessert provided.

3. Art Club will be meeting Thursday right after school in Room 400.
4. Auditions for Showstoppers, Mariemont's pop a cappella group, are this week! All new and returning singers must audition. Auditions must be submitted online by Thursday. Please check Mrs. McGahey's office door for information on how to get music and submit your audition.

5. Cross Country participated in the Milford Invitational on Saturday. The Varsity Girls won 1st place as a team (Lily Bauer, Elyse Kelly, Erin Kelly, Bridget Gilmore, Riley Dunne, Kiersten Souders, Grace Bohl, Delaine Oliveira, Alexa Decamp, Marley Valentine), with 3 girls in the top 20 overall (Lily Bauer in 1st with a time of 18:38.2, Elyse Kelly in 9th, Erin Kelly in 14th. The Varsity Boys also did well, placing 6th as a team with Bennett Turan placing 18th.

6. Any students interested in riding a spirit bus to Taylor for Friday Night’s football game should sign up in the main office before THURSDAY morning. The bus will leave at 6pm.

7. SOPHOMORES:
Make sure you bring 20$ this week to buy an awesome class shirt and help support this year’s Sophomore float! Find Ethan Dill, Erika Dewey, Ally Frye, or Griffen Wilner any time throughout the day to turn in your money and order the correct size.

8. Dewey’s Pizza Kenwood is always looking for bright and energetic additions to their team. With flexible scheduling, students can gain work experience, while maintaining their studies. See the flyer on the bulletin board in the Counseling office.

9. Detention this week will be served with Mrs. Bell in Room 113.
