Climate Council is sponsoring a food
drive until December 17. Please bring all donations for The Freestore Foodbank
to the barrels in the front hallway. If we fill them, then Mr. Campbell will
shave his head.
Reminder: Students are permitted to eat a snack during
morning announcements (9:40). Please remember to bring a snack.
Attention Power of the Pen Team: We will have practice after school on Thursday in
Mrs. Jordan’s room. Please let Mrs. Jordan, Mrs. Strall, or Mrs. Eppert know if
you are unable to attend.
The Pulsera Sale will
continue during lunch this week. Your purchase will help to empower artisans in
Nicaragua through the Pulsera Project. These colorful bracelets are $5 and are
being sold by Spanish Club and Latin Club members individually and during lunch
this week. Check the tag of your bracelet to learn more about the Nicaraguan
artist who made it and see Sra. or a Spanish or Latin Club member if you have
any questions!
Attention Project LIT: don’t forget to read and meet in Mrs. Jordan’s
room this Friday at lunch. ALL 8th graders are welcome to join!
Attention Model
UN Members! Those who are currently a part of Model UN, or those wishing
to attend our conference in January should plan to attend a meeting Thursday,

Hear ye, Hear ye!
Attention all Junior High Students! Auditions
for the Spring Play will be taking place after the Holiday Break! This year's
production will be Romeo and Winifred. You may have heard of the story
of Romeo and Juliet, but we're guessing you've never heard the tale
quite like this before! Everyone is invited to audition for this hilarious and
light-hearted rendition of the classic love story. Please pick up an audition
packet from Mrs. Barzi, Ms. Bedell, or Mrs. Ramsey prior to the Holiday Break,
and be sure to sign up for an audition slot outside of room 212! Hope to see
you at auditions!
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with
your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or other
reason. Please remind your student to bring the note to the office upon
arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to leave
class early and wait at the office until you arrive. If this procedure is
followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your
arrival. In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to
8:30 [email protected].
