"Hear ye, Hear
ye! Attention all Junior High Students! Auditions for the Spring
Play will be taking place after the Holiday Break! This year's production will
be Romeo and Winifred. You may have heard of the story of Romeo and
Juliet, but we're guessing you've never heard the tale quite like this
before! Everyone is invited to audition for this hilarious and light-hearted
rendition of the classic love story. Please pick up an audition packet from
Mrs. Barzi, Ms. Bedell, or Mrs. Ramsey prior to the Holiday Break, and be sure
to sign up for an audition slot outside of room 212! Hope to see you at
auditions!"
The second round of
the Continental Math League will take place during lunch on Monday,
December 9. Grade 8 students will test in room 103 and grade 7 will test
in room 109. All students are welcome to try, even if you did not
participate the first time.
Math Club will
also meet after school until 4:00 on Monday, December 9 in room 109.
Students will have a math style activity making a wreath that transforms into a
star.
Art Club will meet today after school from 3-4:30 in room
#115. Everyone is welcome. We are starting a new sculpture project - bring
a friend!
Attention Power of the
Pen Team:
We will have practice after school on Thursday in Mrs. Jordan’s room. Please
let Mrs. Jordan, Mrs. Strall, or Mrs. Eppert know if you are unable to attend.
Attention Project LIT :
We will meet this Friday during lunch to discuss the first 75 pages
of our new book, The Astonishing Color of After by Emily Pan. ALL
8th graders are welcome!

POWER OF THE PEN DISTRICT COMPETITION volunteers: See Mrs. Jordan for
some important information.
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with your student if they
need to leave early for an appointment or other reason. Please remind
your student to bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell
class) where they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the
office until you arrive. If this procedure is followed, your student will
be sent outside to meet you upon your arrival. In place of a note to
school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30 [email protected].
