The boys’ soccer team had a win tonight against Seven Hills with a
score of 1-0. They were seeded #7 in this tournament and now are going to the
final game against Walnut Hills (seeded #1) this Saturday. All of this follows
a hard fought victory over Princeton this past Saturday with a goal scored in
overtime with 6.3 seconds left in the game. Score was 1-0, MARIEMONT WARRIORS!
Art Club will have its first meeting
this Wednesday, October 16 after school in room #115 with Mrs. Komrska. We will
tie dye tee shirts and banners, and discuss upcoming projects. No need to sign
up, just show up. We'll wrap up by 4:15.
Science
club is starting at MJHS. Interested students
should come during their lunch this Wednesday to Mrs. Alexander's room to
hear all about it and see if they are interested in signing up.
Picture retake day is Tomorrow, October 17 for students who were absent on picture day or wish to have
a new picture taken. Students getting a retake should bring original

8th grade parents: On November 13,
2019, all 8th graders will take a field trip to Union Terminal from
8:30am-12:30pm. Please see the attached flyer for information.
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with
your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or other
reason. Please remind your student to bring the note to the office upon
arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to leave
class early and wait at the office until you arrive. If this procedure is
followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your
arrival. In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to
