Materials Needed

1)  1--Three-ring binder (1.5--2 inches).

2)  5 dividers (journal, vocabulary/spelling, grammar, reading, composition)

3)  Notebook paper to go in binder.

4)  Pens/Pencils.

5)  Highlighters (optional, but extra credit if donated to the class)

6)  Post-it Notes (optional, but extra credit if donated to the class)

Student Responsibilities and Expectations

1)  SLOG (Sit in assigned seat, Look at assignment board, Organize your desk and materials, Get to work.)  when the bell rings.

2)  Respect self, fellow students, teacher and surroundings of classroom.

3)  Raise your hand and wait to be called upon.

4)  Use your mind in positive and thoughtful attempts on class work and discussion.

5)  Remain seated until the teacher dismisses class.
