Mr. Thomson served in the United States Navy during World
War II. he was a Fire Control 3rd Class. He served on the
USS Henry A. Wiley
DM 29 and the
USS Thompson DMS 38
doing minesweeping in the Pacific. Mr.
Thomson started in the V12 Program while he was in college.
He is retired and now does stainless steel sculptors, one of which is in
the Dayton Airport. He was awarded the Victory Medal, good Conduct
Medal, American Theater Medal, and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal.
He achieved the rank of Fire Control 3rd Class. |
