Quiambao Returns in Strength

Quiambao Returns in Strength

As the winter lifting season comes to an end and the spring session is gearing up, the physical improvements of the Mariemont Football Warriors could not have been attained without the support of a recent alumni. David Quiambao (Mariemont ’13) is studying Physiology at the University of Cincinnati with hopes of becoming a personal trainer/strength and conditioning coach. David reached out to another recent alumni and football coach, Joe Veeneman (’17) to see if he could come back and help his old team out! David was welcomed back with open arms and the players have improved immensely with the system he and Veeneman have set up! Players have increased some lifts as much as 50 pounds and have gained weight to the likes of 25 and 13 pounds! Quiambao’s return has yet again highlighted the age old quote, “Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior!"

Quiambao will graduate at the end of this Spring Semester at UC
