Getting started with Moodle:

1.       Go to Mariemont homepage.

2.       Go to MHS Library.

3.       Left side: under “Quick Links”: click on Moodle.

4.       Left side: under “Course categories”: click on high school

5.       New screen will pop up: under “Subcategories”: click on English

6.       It will ask if you want to register as a new user: say yes

7.       Use a password you will remember: I suggest your log in password.

8.       Click on the appropriate bell English class.

9.       Find your group.

10.   Post on

·         FORUM: CREATE A SUBJECT: POST A RESPONSE or RESPOND TO SOMEONE ELSE’S SUBJECT

·         WIKI: Like Wikipedia, you can write & alter one another’s text. Don’t worry; it will keep a history in case someone deletes your brilliance.

 

 

You must post twice…remember, the more you “discuss,” the easier it will be on Monday when you need to create a powerpoint with your group in 45 minutes.
