Federal Funds (Part B) Available

Dear Parents and Community Members,

The Mariemont City School District receives federal flow through funds through Part B of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).   The maximum entitlement for the school district this year is equal to the number of resident students with disabilities ages three through 21 who are provided a free and appropriate special education and related services programs by the Mariemont City School District based upon the December child count.

The school district is required to inform the public each year of its participation in this program.  Suggestions regarding the expenditure of these funds may be directed to Sandra Sommer, Pupil Personnel Director at 272-7400.  The first priority for expenditure of these funds must be to provide direct services to students with a disability.
