Terrace Park Elementary Recognized for Science Achievement

For the second consecutive year, Terrace Park Elementary is being honored for its achievement in science, this year earning the Harold C. Shaw Memorial Outstanding School Award.

The award is given to schools which have multiple students earn superior ratings at the State Science Day. Terrace Park is one of only 12 schools across the state to earn this distinction in 2019.

The school learned of its recognition in a letter from U.S. Representative Brad Wenstrup.

Terrace Park also received recognition in science in 2018, earning the Governor’s Thomas Edison Award for Excellence in STEM Education.
