 Welcome to the web site for Mariemont City Schools. It is our intent to use our site to show parents and the community what we are doing in our schools. It also provides a forum for students and staff to showcase their accomplishments.  We hope you enjoy your visit.

Mariemont City Schools: A Tradition of Excellence

  1. On the 1998 "School District Report Card" issued by the Ohio Department of Education , Mariemont was declared an "effective" district, one of only 11 effective districts out of 611 statewide.

  2. For the 1997-98 school year Mariemont students in the fourth and sixth grades achieved the highest percentage of students in Hamilton county who passed all 5 Ohio Proficiency tests.

  3. Named one of the 100 top school districts in the nation. (Money Magazine Jan. 1996).

  4. Ranked eighth in Ohio on the 1996 Proficiency Test scores. (Cincinnati Enquirer, Nov. 1997).

  5. Named the number 1 top scoring district in Ohio (Toledo Blade, June 22, 1997).

  6. Scored third highest in the 1997 Ohio 12th Grade Proficiency Test.
