MARIEMONT CITY SCHOOLS

A
Message from the Superintendent
This
morning the United States was the victim of terrorist attacks in New York City
and Washington, D.C. None of these
attacks was anywhere near the Cincinnati area, and we are very safe in our
community and in our schools.
As
a sign of respect for those innocent Americans who lost their lives, we have
put our district flags at half-mast. We
are also canceling all evening school-related activities.
It
is important that those who cowardly attacked our cities know that the nation
will not be brought to a standstill by terrorist acts. Accordingly, schools will be in session as
usual tomorrow. Business as usual is
our answer.
You
are encouraged to pray for those injured, those who lost their lives, and for
their families and friends at the time of national tragedy.
