Registration is open for the annual Warrior Run which takes place Saturday, September 30, at 5:15 p.m. at Bell Tower Park.
The Warrior Run, organized by local group 1-In-5, raises funds and awareness for suicide prevention. Mariemont resident Nancy Miller began the Warrior run in 2008 after her husband Jim killed himself earlier that year.
The annual event includes a 5K run/walk with a family-friendly party following the race with food, soft drinks, music and kid’s games. The evening concludes with a movie at dark.
Proceeds from the Warrior Run directly impact Mariemont City Schools, paying for the Signs of Suicide Program at the high school, the morning mindfulness program in all buildings, the parent education series and the GoNoodle site at the elementary schools and the transition Program speaker for the high school.
All Mariemont students, families and staff are encouraged to register for the Warrior Run by using the links below.
