Superintendent Steven Estepp was recently sworn in as a volunteer EMT with the village of Terrace Park.
To fulfill this role in Terrace Park’s Emergency Medical Services Department, Mr. Estepp was required to become nationally certified as an Emergency Medical Technician by completing 150 hours of classroom and lab time in the evenings and participating in clinical observations in emergency rooms and in the field with EMTs.
“I wanted to serve as a volunteer in this role as a way of giving back to my community,” said Mr. Estepp. “We encourage our students and district staff to grow and expand their life experiences by participating in enriching opportunities outside of the classroom, and I felt like this was a perfect chance for me to do just that while also contributing to the greater good.”
