Class Rules

Grading System-Point system based on the percentage of points achieved out of the total number of points possible. Papers are returned with points recorded on them.
Homework-Lose 10 points each time you do not complete an assignment; some assignments are collected and scored.
Late Work-No late homework accepted. Major assignments accepted late with a deduction of one letter grade for each day. For absences, handbook rules are followed.
Academic Dishonesty-Copying someone else's homework (like vocabulary) is cheating. Use of Cliff Notes/Spark Notes is discouraged and prohibited in school. Plagiarism will be dealt with according to handbook rules.
Classroom Behavior-Be polite. Making fun of another students' ideas, family, dress, etc., will not be tolerated; neither will comments denigrating another race, religious group, or gender. There should be no behavior disruptive to other students' learning or working.
Individual Help-Daily from 7:30 to 3:15 or later by appointment.
