Vignette Text with Repeating Lines or Phrases - This is a very common text structure, appearing as a whole-text structure in many short texts and as a section struture in many long texts.  the text moves from vignette to vignette with the help of a repeating line or phrase that either begins or ends each vignette.  The vignettes may be chunks of information, description, or narration.  The repeating line or phrase is generally a statement that captures the connection common to all the vignettes (Wondrous Words by Katie Wood Ray).
